Backed by a young, inexperienced but enthusiastic team, our enterprise hit the road in 1991. Sans a family name, history or brand, scouting for customers and orders was indeed a difficult task. Which is why today the customer holds the pride of place in my scheme of things. One satisfied business house led to the next as our reputation and reach continued to grow. Our strategic partners were unique entities who slowly came to depend on us completely. We set up our manufacturing locations engulfing the key pharmaceutical hubs, which also helped obviate the physical barriers of distance and contributed to the ever-increasing asset base of Ess Dee.
Today as I look ahead at expanding our horizons and welcoming fresh talent into the organisation, I find it important to define the short, medium and long-term deliverables of my company to our customers, partners, employees and the global community. While we strive to carve our niche amongst world players, we also believe in working alongside our large pool of human resource on a daily basis to improve individual productivity and encourage growth for all.
The Sudip Dutta Foundation has also been dedicated to the wider mission of improving the overall quality of life of the communities we work in as well as initiating a strong environmental consciousness into our workflow.
As the world shrinks into a web of closely-knit consumers and manufacturers, I look forward to a new chapter in the joint history of Ess Dee and Division India Foils of serving up the very best in innovation, breaking barriers of time and location and as I always say, exceeding your every expectation!
