ESS DEE is managed by Board of Directors who are supported by competent Corporate Executive Team. The Board is comprised of executive, non-executive and independent directors who are responsible for our corporate governance and ultimately accountable for our activities, strategy and performance. Our Corporate Executive Team manages the day-to-day activities, whereby each member is responsible for a specific part of the business.

Sudip Dutta
Chairman & Managing Director

Sudip is a first generation entrepreneur. As the founder of Ess Dee Aluminium Ltd. he spearheads the Company's strategic growth. He has over 20 years of experience in the various facets of pharmaceutical and packaging industry. Under his able leadership, the Company has grown exponentially both in the domestic and international arena.

Soumitra Barari
Director *

Soumitra brings a three decade long experience in technology and spearheads the R&D and its flawless commercial execution. He is entrusted with new technology innovation, commercial trial and final execution at the floor level. He is a postgraduate in Packaging and Printing Technology from Jadavpur University and worked in premier companies in India and abroad.

Debdeep Bhattacharya

Debdeep brings his two decade long experience in Sales and Marketing in packaging industry. He heads revenue strategy and its execution through a team of sales and marketing professionals to augment top line growth. He is also entrusted with client and Investor Relationship management and corporate communication. He is an Economics Graduate from Presidency College, Kolkata.

Prasenjit Datta
Whole Time Director

Prasenjit is a metallurgist from IIT with a post graduate qualification in management from XLRI. He has been a lead assessor for ISO 9001 systems with RBA-UK. He has close to two decades of manufacturing experience in the aluminium foil industry. He spearheads all aluminium related initiatives and developments.

Abhijit Bose

Abhijit brings his more than two decades of experience of a practicing manager involved in formulation of business strategy and its execution to ensure organic and inorganic growth of organizations through brand building, international business development, effective collaborations and acquisitions. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.

M S R Srinivasa
President

M S R Srinivasa is a Chartered Engineer in Electrical technology and brings almost two decades of experience in packaging industry with a specialization in PVC calendaring. After successfully setting up the Goa Unit and ensuring its commercial success, he is entrusted to head the operations of all plants of ESS DEE ALUMINIUM LTD across India.

Indrajit Chaudhuri
President

Indrajit brings his more than two decade long experience in aluminium foil and packaging industry to ensure meeting the alignment objective of the newly acquired India Foils Limited from strategy to floor level. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a postgraduate in Statistical Quality Control & Operation Research.

Vinaya Desai
Vice President

Vinaya brings her vast experience in quality assurance, clinical research and regulatory affairs to ensure product acceptance of ESS DEE ALUMINIUM LTD to be at par with international standards. She had done her post graduation in Pharmacy from Pune University.
